Job summary

Outpost seeks an Investment Associate to join its real estate investment team in Los Angeles, supporting sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution across IOS and truck-terminal portfolios. You will work directly with senior leadership and report to the Managing Director of Acquisitions.

The role requires 3–5+ years in real estate acquisitions, strong financial modeling skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required; Argus beneficial).
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the real estate team in sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications.
• Perform extensive financial modeling and valuation on potential acquisitions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, attorneys, brokers, lenders, and partners.
• Prepare investment memos and reports for senior management and investors.
• Aggregate market information from third-party and internal research for growth initiatives.
• Handle review of real estate contracts, financial statements, leases, and related documents.
