Job summary

Outpost is seeking a highly driven Investment Associate to support its nationwide growth across IOS and truck-terminal portfolios. Based in Austin, you will work directly with senior leadership on sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution.

You will perform extensive financial modeling, prepare investment memos, and coordinate with executives, brokers, lenders and external partners to drive deals and asset management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; Argus beneficial.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized, fast-moving and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.
• Extreme career dedication—this role is demanding.

Responsibilities

• Support the real estate team in all sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications activities.
• Perform extensive financial modeling and valuation work on potential acquisitions.
• Interface across internal and external stakeholders including leadership, partners, attorneys, brokers, lenders.
• Prepare investment memos and ancillary reports for senior management and investors.
• Generate and synthesize market information for asset management and growth initiatives.
• Complete timely and accurate analysis of contracts, financials, leases, loans, etc.
