Job summary

Outpost in Austin seeks a driven Investment Analyst to join the real estate investment team and support nationwide growth. You will work directly with senior leadership across sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for IOS and truck-terminal portfolios.

Based in our Austin office, you will perform financial modeling, prepare memos, and coordinate with executives, brokers, lenders, and investors to drive opportunities forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 1+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required; Argus beneficial).
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications.
• Perform extensive financial modeling and valuation analysis on acquisitions.
• Interface with leadership, external partners, attorneys, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memos and reports for senior management and investors.
• Generate market information from third-party reports and internal research.
• Analyze real estate documents including contracts, leases, loans, and statements.
