Job summary

Outpost in Austin, TX is seeking an Investment Associate to support nationwide growth across IOS and truck-terminal portfolios. You will work directly with senior leadership, focusing on sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role reports to the Managing Director of Acquisitions and requires strong financial modeling, market research, and communication skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial real estate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3-5+ years of real estate acquisitions experience.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.
• Extreme career dedication - this will be very hard.

Responsibilities

• Support the real estate team in all sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications activities.
• Perform extensive financial modeling analysis and valuation work on potential acquisitions;
• Interface across Outpost’s internal and external functional areas, including executive leadership, external partners, attorneys, brokers, lenders, and other similar parties.
• Prepare investment memos and ancillary reports for presentation to senior management and outside investors.
• Generate, aggregate, and synthesize critical market information from third-party reports and first-party research as part of ongoing asset management and growth initiatives.
• Be relied upon to complete timely and accurate analysis regarding critical real estate documents including contracts, financial statements, leases, loans, and other similar transaction documents.
