Job summary

Outpost Bio is seeking an Investment Analyst to join our real estate investment team in Austin. You will support sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution across IOS and truck-terminal portfolios under the MD of Acquisitions.

This role partners with senior leadership to drive nationwide growth. You will build financial models in Excel (Argus is a plus), prepare memos, and synthesize market data to inform asset management and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field is required.
• 1+ years of real estate acquisitions experience or closely related field.
• Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required; Argus beneficial).
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the real estate team in sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and investor communications.
• Perform extensive financial modeling analysis and valuation on potential acquisitions.
• Interface with executive leadership, external partners, attorneys, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memos and ancillary reports for senior management and investors.
• Generate market information from third-party reports and internal research for asset management and growth initiatives.
• Complete timely and accurate analysis of real estate documents (contracts, financials, leases, loans).
