Job summary

Grant Morgan seeks a driven real estate finance professional in the Washington, DC metro area to support investment and asset management executives with financial modeling and data integrity. The role interacts with Managing Directors, Principals, Vice Presidents, and Senior Associates, leveraging Excel and Argus to analyze capital structures, valuations, and investment opportunities.

A strong analytical background and proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

BS in Finance, Economics or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ commercial real estate experience preferred.
Strong analytical background is required.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with modeling/underwriting proficiency.
Strong problem-solving skills and value-creation thinking.
Highly motivated, proactive and efficient.

Responsibilities

Maintain investment level Excel and Argus models that capture complex capital structure and waterfall calculations.
Create sensitivity models that answer key strategic initiatives and provide concise results.
Participate in operational, development, and leasing calls to drive investment strategy.
Update quarterly investor communications and reporting.
Prepare materials and participate in quarterly asset review meetings with Fund Head.
Comprehend and manage ownership documentation including debt and venture agreements.
Calculate quarterly asset and equity valuations and prepare documentation.
Assist Investment team with transactions including exits/dispositions, major lease analysis and recapitalizations.
