Job summary

Griffin Capital Company seeks an Acquisitions Analyst to support full-cycle real estate investments—from underwriting and financial modeling to market research and memoranda. You will partner with senior team members to evaluate new opportunities and prepare materials for Investment Committee.

Responsibilities include creating cash-flow projections, updating models, and assisting due diligence while building internal data systems for target markets and asset metrics.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge of NOI, cap rates, returns and debt covenants.
• Ability to build and audit complex real estate financial models.
• Familiarity with market data platforms such as RedIQ, CoStar, RealPage.

Responsibilities

• Assist asset valuation, cash-flow projection, and underwriting for development or acquisitions.
• Prepare financial models with deal-level and waterfall IRRs.
• Conduct market and submarket analysis and update models as projects progress.
• Prepare underwriting, investor, and lender packages for deals.
• Research demographic, market, tenant, and property data for opportunities.
• Create investment memoranda and reports for Investment Committee.
• Support due diligence and document control activities.
• Maintain internal databases for markets, financials, and comps.
• Review contracts related to acquisitions, development, and management.
• Assist with ad hoc requests and cross-functional projects.
