Qualifications

• Third or fourth-year accounting student.
• Working knowledge of accounting and GAAP.

• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and problem quantification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset, liability and equity accounts for assigned properties monthly.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements for properties.
• Investigate variances between actuals and budgets and provide explanations.
• Respond to accounting/financial questions in a timely manner.
• Participate in meetings to understand real estate investments accounting.
• Demonstrate Excel and financial analysis skills on projects.
• Record transactions in the mortgage loan accounting system.
• Support various accounting tasks and projects as assigned.
