Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking an Analyst to advise real estate clients on interest rate and FX hedging. You will work in a fast-paced environment, learning through apprenticeship-style training alongside seasoned consultants, with opportunities to develop expertise in capital markets.

Initial training in hedging mechanics and pricing leads to client advisory, deal structuring, and execution. You will contribute to cross-functional solutions and client relationship development to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or related credentials are a plus
• 1–5 years of relevant industry experience in real estate, finance, derivatives, capital markets, risk advisory, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate raw data into practical insights
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Advise real estate sponsors on interest rate and FX hedging strategies
• Assist with pricing analysis and generate market indications using proprietary models and market intelligence
• Structure, negotiate, and execute derivative transactions directly with bank counterparties
• Analyze loan documents and capital structures to identify risk-management implications
• Assist senior advisors with presenting strategic recommendations to CFOs, treasury teams, and investment professionals
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated advisory solutions
• Prepare, negotiate and review transaction documents for legal and regulatory compliance
• Build rapport with clients and other Chatham teams to identify hedging and non-hedging opportunities
