The role offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where team members develop a deep understanding of derivative products and markets. Learning happens through hands-on experience in an apprenticeship-style setting alongside seasoned consultants.**In this role you will:*** Advise private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on interest rate and FX hedging strategies* Lead pricing analysis and generate market indications using proprietary models and market intelligence* Structure, negotiate, and execute derivative transactions directly with bank counterparties* Analyze loan documents and capital structures to identify risk management implications* Present strategic recommendations to CFOs, treasury teams, and investment professionals* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated advisory solutions* Prepare, negotiate and review transaction documents for legal and regulatory compliance* Execute OTC derivatives trades on behalf of clients* Build rapport and, together with other Chatham teams, develop relationships with clients to identify new hedging as well as non-hedging opportunitiesInitially, you will be trained (or further trained) in interest rate and foreign currency hedging mechanics and pricing, followed by client advisory, deal structuring, negotiation of terms, and execution of hedges. As you grow in experience, you will bring value as a senior strategic advisor, participating in all aspects of hedging strategy and transaction execution for clients while growing your expertise in capital markets. You will take ownership of and contribute actively to training newer advisors and potentially have opportunities for extended assignments within our clients’ teams where there is a fit. You will partner with colleagues in other service areas to identify additional client needs and provide comprehensive solutions.
