Job summary

Chatham Financial seeks an Analyst to support its Real Estate Hedging Advisory team, advising clients on interest rate and FX hedging and building expertise in derivative products and capital markets. The role emphasizes hands-on learning in a mentorship‑driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and about 1–5 years of related experience; MBA or CFA/CPA/MAI is a plus. Colorado base with strong compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and approximately 1-5 years of relevant industry experience in real estate, finance, derivatives, capital markets, risk advisory, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Advise real estate sponsors on interest rate and FX hedging strategies
• Assist with pricing analysis and generate market indications using proprietary models and market intelligence
• Structure, negotiate, and execute derivative transactions directly with bank counterparties
• Analyze loan documents and capital structures to identify risk management implications
• Assist senior advisors with presenting strategic recommendations to CFOs, treasury teams, and investment professionals
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated advisory solutions
• Prepare, negotiate and review transaction documents for legal and regulatory compliance
• Build rapport and, together with other Chatham teams, develop relationships with clients to identify new hedging as well as non-hedging opportunities
