Job summary

Chatham Financial, a leading capital markets advisor, is seeking an Analyst for its Real Estate Hedging Advisory team in Colorado. You will advise sponsors on interest rate and FX hedging, price and structure deals, and work with CFOs and treasury teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunity to grow into senior advisory positions, with comprehensive benefits and a compensation range of $80k-$105k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, derivatives, capital markets, risk advisory, or related fields.
• MBA or Master's degree in finance or related credentials (CFA, CPA, MAI) a plus, but not required.
• Approximately 1-5 years of relevant industry experience in real estate, finance, derivatives, or risk advisory.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise real estate sponsors on interest rate and FX hedging strategies.
• Assist with pricing analysis and generate market indications using models.
• Structure, negotiate, and execute derivative transactions with bank counterparties.
• Analyze loan documents and capital structures to identify risk management implications.
• Assist senior advisors with presenting strategic recommendations to CFOs and treasury teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
• Prepare and review transaction documents for regulatory compliance.
• Build client relationships to identify hedging and non-hedging opportunities.
