Job summary

Ridge Real Estate Partners seeks a Senior Accounting Associate to support fund and corporate accounting, reporting, and internal controls. This in‑person role collaborates with the Head of Asset Management and COO in Midtown Manhattan, focusing on day‑to‑day workflows, GAAP compliance, and investor reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience in real estate investment management, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and solid Excel skills; CPA progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, real estate investment management preferred.
• Solid GAAP and partnership accounting understanding.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial templates.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day accounting for Ridge’s funds and corporate entities.
• Review, organize, and track monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate information for capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Coordinate annual audits and quarterly/annual tax filings with external auditors/tax advisors.
• Maintain internal accounting files, checklists, and workflows for compliance.
• Assist with quarterly investor reporting packages and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with investments and asset management teams for accurate transaction recording.
• Assist with quarterly valuation support packages and fund reserves analyses.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, templates, and processes.
