Ridge Real Estate Partners (\u201CRidge\u201D) is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Senior Accounting Associate to support the firm’s accounting and financial operations. This role will work closely with, and under the direction of, Ridge’s Head of Asset Management and COO to ensure accurate processing of fund and corporate accounting tasks. The Senior Accounting Associate will focus on executing day‑to‑day workflows, maintaining financial records, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.

Position Description

The Senior Accounting Associate will support a broad range of accounting and finance activities, including fund-level and entity-level accounting, investor reporting support, and coordination with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax professionals. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and an interest in learning the nuances of real estate private equity fund structures. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience. The position is an in‑person role at Ridge’s Midtown Manhattan office.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support day‑to‑day accounting functions for Ridge’s funds and corporate entities.
• Review, organize, and track monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements prepared by third‑party administrators.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate information for capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations in collaboration with the Head of Asset Management and COO.
• Coordinate annual audits and quarterly and annual tax filings, including managing information requests and timelines with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain internal accounting files, checklists, and workflows to support compliance and operational consistency.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly investor reporting packages, including capital account statements and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for both fund and corporate operations.
• Collaborate with the investments and asset management teams to ensure transaction‑level activity is recorded accurately and promptly.
• Assist with quarterly valuation support packages and fund reserves analyses.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, templates, and processes to support the firm’s growth.

Salary: $100,000, with final compensation commensurate with experience. The package includes competitive benefits and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

Position Requirements

Candidates should possess the following characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license or active progress toward CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate investment management or related fields.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and partnership accounting fundamentals.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including reconciliations and financial templates.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow structured processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
