Job summary

GJL Partners, based in Manhattan Beach, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting across its real estate fund structures. This role requires strong accounting skills, particularly in partnership accounting and multi-entity consolidations.

The ideal candidate should have 4–8+ years of experience, with a background in real estate private equity. You will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Strong knowledge of fund administration systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience with fund administrators supporting real estate funds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and reporting for real estate funds and property-level entities.
• Manage complex ownership structures and carried interest allocations.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.
