Job summary

LHH, a well-established national law firm, seeks a mid-level Real Estate Finance Associate with at least three years of law firm experience to join its growing transactional real estate practice in Washington, DC.

You will draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, manage due diligence, and coordinate complex real estate transactions from inception through closing, potentially mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• At least three years of law firm experience in real estate finance.
• Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate financing and ancillary transaction documents.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence and coordinate execution from inception to closing.
• Analyze ownership structures, review title/surveys, and evaluate leases and property-related agreements.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support professionals; collaborate with lenders, borrowers, and investors as needed.
