Selby Jennings in Dallas seeks an Equity Associate to support its Asset Management team. You will work on office and retail assets, building complex financial models, conducting equity underwriting, and preparing fund-level reporting.

Regularly communicate with decision-makers and lead junior staff. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in asset management, underwriting, or acquisitions, strong Excel/ARGUS skills, and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Experience modeling real estate cash flows, including waterfalls and debt structures.
• Proven ability to monitor a portfolio of equity investments and generate asset-level reporting.
• Client-facing communication with internal and external decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and managing a portfolio of real estate equity investments.
• Develop and maintain asset-level cash flow reforecasting models.
• Guide Analysts in asset and portfolio reporting models to monitor performance.
• Underwrite various asset classes using Excel-based models, including IRR and waterfalls.
• Review business plans, leasing activity, and monthly property performance.
• Collaborate with operating partners and Acquisition Teams on plan execution.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and development of team members.
