Job summary

Selby Jennings in Dallas seeks an experienced acquisitions and asset management professional to underwrite new opportunities, coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external vendors, and take ownership as experience grows.

You will oversee or support the closing process, manage assets through their lifecycle, collaborate with Construction, property managers and leasing agents on budgets, forecasts, and leases, and deliver regular financial performance reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in acquisitions and/or asset management in commercial real estate.
• Experience with Excel and financial models.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to mentor others and work in fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new acquisitions and support or lead assets through due diligence.
• Lead or support closing processes for new acquisitions.
• Manage assets through their lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Construction, property managers, and leasing agents on business plans, budgets, forecasts, and approvals.
• Prepare regular debt and equity reporting and monitor budgets and occupancy levels.
• Communicate progress to executives and contribute to asset disposition when appropriate.
