Job summary

Ares Management Corporation is seeking an Associate for its Real Estate Equity team to underwrite and analyze real estate investments across industrial, multifamily, office, retail, and related sectors in the United States. You will engage in due diligence, modeling, and market analysis while supporting asset management and eventual exits.

The role demands a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/real estate, 2–4 years of finance experience, and advanced Excel skills; ARGUS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field is required with strong academics.
• 2–4 years of finance experience; prior real estate investment banking or PE preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; ARGUS helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze complex financial underwriting models for real estate investments.
• Perform asset and market due diligence and assess capital structures and risks.
• Assist in asset management, financing decisions, and eventual property disposition.
