Qualifications

• Several years of legal experience in energy, infrastructure, or commercial real estate law.
• Experience with land use, zoning, or permitting processes related to energy or real estate development.
• Strong background in commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements and leasing.
• Experience advising on renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, energy storage, or transmission infrastructure.
• Familiarity with land acquisition, permitting, and development issues within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on legal matters related to renewable energy projects including solar, wind, storage, and transmission developments
• Support land acquisition, site control, and development activities for utility-scale and distributed energy projects
• Structure and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and other real estate transactions
• Assist with permitting, land use, and regulatory considerations affecting energy infrastructure projects
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents related to real estate and energy development
• Collaborate with partners and clients on sophisticated commercial real estate and project development matters
• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients navigating energy project development and real estate transactions
• Contribute to the continued growth of the practice through client service, relationship development, and business development initiatives
