Job summary

Terra, a Miami-based real estate development company, is seeking a Development Associate to join its team. You will support the Senior Development Manager across the project pipeline from inception to completion and coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure entitlements and permits are secured.

You will assist in underwriting deals, building financial models, and developing budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Economics or Real Estate required.
• Advanced knowledge of Blue Beam is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Development Manager from inception to completion.
• Coordinate consultants and internal teams to obtain entitlements and permits.
• Assist in underwriting deals and building financial models for costs, revenues, returns.
• Define project requirements with stakeholders and manage design/budget constraints.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and execution strategies for entitlements and permits.
• Identify risks, develop mitigations, and implement contingency plans.
• Manage due diligence, create checklists, and coordinate with finance.
• Coordinate market research with finance, leasing, sales and marketing.
• Oversee development schedules and track milestones against plans.
• Maintain development reports and minutes of consultant meetings.
• Coordinate branding and marketing efforts; secure permits.
