Job summary

DevCo Residential Group seeks a full-time Financial Accountant to join our team, based in Bellevue, WA or St. Louis Park, MN. You will manage accounting for development projects and support audits and financial reporting.

You will collaborate with Development, Construction, Treasury and Asset Management to ensure accurate records, timely closings, and compliant reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2–5 years financial accounting experience in Real Estate and Development preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Background check and drug screen required; eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project accounting records and journal entries across development lifecycle.
• Reconcile balance sheet, CIP, construction loans and intercompany accounts.
• Record closings, owner funding, draw activity and financing movements.
• Prepare monthly financials, project reports and cost analyses.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction, Treasury, Asset Management, lenders and managers.
• Support audits, tax return work, and cost certifications.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes and system initiatives.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and reporting.
