Job summary

Pennrose is seeking an Associate Developer in New York to support multi-project real estate development, from inception to lease-up. You will work with internal leaders and external financiers, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver feasible, timely project outcomes.

You will perform financial modeling, prepare professional presentations, coordinate development activities, and help manage schedules and budgets across market-rate and affordable housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business or related field is required.
• Master’s Degree or at least 3 years of work experience is required.
• Solid real-estate knowledge base.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in composing on-message PowerPoint presentations.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Financial modeling to determine economic feasibility of a project.
• Drafting and finalizing multiple, professional RFPs and RFQs under supervision.
• Participate in building strong public-private partnerships.
• Coordinate with municipalities for clear communication.
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for financiers, municipalities, and community stakeholders.
• Track land-development approvals and assist with project timelines.
• Coordinate legal matters as directed by Team Leader.
• Coordinate architectural/engineering matters for proposed developments.
• Create realistic project schedules and budgets.
• Interface with contractors and professionals to advance developments.
• Assist in lease-up coordination with information flow on limiting criteria.
• Maintain calendars and schedule development meetings.
• Comply with Pennrose Properties policies.
