Job summary

World Bank Group (IFC) is seeking an E T Consultant in Real Estate Decarbonization to assess sustainability strategies and drive low-carbon outcomes for real estate portfolios across multiple duty stations, including Washington, DC and New Delhi. The role requires a strong background in energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and decarbonization planning.

Qualifications

Master's degree in building science, architectural/ mechanical engineering, sustainability, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in real estate decarbonization or energy efficiency.
Experience with IFC, MDB, or financial institutions is a plus.
Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Assess sustainability strategies to identify gaps and improvements.
Evaluate energy efficiency, electrification, and renewable measures for DRIVE projects.
Conduct baseline assessments for real estate portfolio emissions.
Provide recommendations for net-zero by 2050 aligned with international frameworks.
Review CapEx plans and on-site/off-site renewable energy options.
Develop decarbonization roadmaps and monitoring frameworks.
