Job summary

The World Bank Group, through IFC, seeks an ET Consultant to support real estate decarbonization efforts across Washington, DC and New Delhi. The role involves technical due diligence, energy efficiency reviews, baseline emissions analyses, and actionable recommendations to advance DRIVE projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in real estate decarbonization, knowledge of GHG protocols and net-zero strategies, and strong stakeholder communication skills in a global context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in building science, architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, sustainability, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in real estate decarbonization, energy efficiency, or technical advisory.
• Experience with IFC, MDB, or financial institutions on private sector advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support technical due diligence for Drive decarbonization projects.
• Lead or assist in energy feasibility studies and baseline assessments.
• Review CapEx plans and payback analyses for real estate portfolios.
• Advise on on-site and off-site renewable energy options and regulatory impacts.
