Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Senior Debt Capital Markets professional to lead loan placements on real estate assets through closing. You will advise deal teams on market terms, present to investment committees, and drive negotiation and documentation.

The role requires deep experience in underwriting real estate debt/equity structures, advanced Excel/PowerPoint with VBA, and Python data manipulation. Domestic travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Investment & Development, Portfolio Management, or related occupation.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, Investment & Development, Portfolio Management, or related occupation.
• Experience in underwriting real estate assets for debt and equity ownership structures.

Responsibilities

• Launch loan placements on Real Estate assets through closing.
• Provide internal guidance to deal teams on market terms for deals and investment committee presentations.
• Analyze bids and recommend financing to portfolio management.
• Drive transaction negotiation and documentation.
• Cultivate lender, broker, partner, legal, and other industry relationships for deal flow.
• Participate in property inspections and market tours.
• Attend industry conferences (MBA, CREFC, NMHC, ICSC RECON).
• Travel up to 10% domestically for training, meetings, and site visits.
