Job summary

Volkert, Inc. is seeking an experienced Real Estate Data Specialist for our Southwest Region in Shreveport, LA. You will manage right-of-way files, perform data entry, and prepare easements and reports tied to acquisitions.

The role requires reading title commitments, coordinating with Right-of-Way Agents, and ensuring proper notarization and recording of documents. Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Real Estate or Utility industry.
• Ability to read and interpret title commitments and right of way plats/plans.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening; federal guidelines may apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all right-of-way files (physical and electronic).
• Continual project data entry and data maintenance of projects.
• Document and review special conditions and ownership information.
• Prepare and review reports involving status of acquisition processes.
• Generate accurate reports and perform data merges to external documents.
• Perform quality control checks and internal/external project closeouts.
• Maintain ledger, reconcile reports, and manage client escrow data.
• Ensure documents are notarized, executed, and properly recorded.
