Job summary

Volkert Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Data Specialist in Shreveport, LA to manage right-of-way files, perform data entry, and prepare easements. You will review legal documents and maintain closeout records, coordinating with Right-of-Way agents and landowners.

A valid driver’s license and Microsoft Office proficiency are required. The role involves preparing and reviewing reports, ensuring notarization, and maintaining data quality across project records.

Qualifications

• Experience in Real Estate or Utility industries required.
• Ability to read and interpret title commitments and ROW plats/plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening per company policy.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all right-of-way files (physical and electronic).
• Continual project data entry and documentation of special conditions.
• Prepare easements and payment schedules.
• Generate accurate reports and perform data merges with mail merge capabilities.
• Review legal documents for execution and notarization.
• Maintain document tracking and closeout duties including reconciliations.
