Volkert, Inc. seeks a Real Estate Specialist for the Midwest Region based in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on supporting real estate acquisitions and due diligence for project development in the area.

Candidates should have 0–3 years in Right of Way or real estate, strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to manage multiple projects with solid organizational ability. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• 0–3 years of experience in Right of Way or real estate.
• Indiana real estate license and notary commission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform title search updates to determine ownership and encumbrances.
• Prepare documents for acquisition of real estate rights for projects.
• Negotiate for acquisition of land rights.
• Negotiate settlements of property owner damage claims related to construction.
• Prepare, assemble, and deliver hard copy files and transfer documents.
