Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in corporate or commercial credit, investment banking, or relevant financial services or rating agency experience.
• Academic training in accounting, corporate finance, capital markets products, and macroeconomics.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis and support senior credit officer approval of lending and trading-related transactions, including operating exposures.
• Prepare written credit approval documents, including spreading and analysis of historical financial statements and projections of future cash flows.
• Develop forward-looking views of business, financial performance, and key risks for covered companies and sectors.
• Manage and monitor a portfolio of client credit exposures on an ongoing basis.
• Participate in negotiating, finalizing, and executing documentation for loans and derivatives.
• Assign risk ratings and maintain updated credit research for portfolio clients.
• Support active management of the commercial real estate portfolio, including surveillance and portfolio management projects.
