The role requires seven years in real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management, plus a bachelor’s degree and corporate credit training or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Seven years of experience in real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• Completion of a corporate credit training program or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of loan structuring, documentation, and market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit process on opportunities including structuring, underwriting, loan documentation/negotiation, and closing.
• Maintains market knowledge of loan pricing, structural trends, and risks across real estate sectors.
• Attends calls with coverage bankers to understand client needs and business strategy.
• Develops strategies with coverage bankers to deliver credit solutions.
• Represents the primary contact with Credit Risk and presents loan requests for approval/modifications.
• Coordinates with deal team during closing with various groups and clients.
• Supports client selectivity aligning with Regions’ risk profile.
• Manages loan servicing issues with associates and leads modifications when needed.
• Oversees Credit Servicing activities to monitor quarterly requirements and identify risks.
