Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in real estate underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• Completion of a corporate credit training program or equivalent corporate banking/real estate experience.
• Strong understanding of loan structuring needs, loan documentation requirements, and market knowledge.
• Financial analysis experience and client relationship management.
• Experience with legal documentation in loan transactions.

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit process on opportunities from structuring to closing.
• Maintains market knowledge of loan pricing, structural trends, and emerging risks.
• Attends calls with coverage bankers to align client needs with business strategy.
• Collaborates to develop strategies and deliver credit solutions for clients.
• Presents loan requests to Credit Risk for approval or modification.
• Coordinates with deal team during closing with multiple groups.
• Supports client selectivity aligned with Regions’ risk profile.
• Oversees Credit Servicing activities when designated.
• Assists in early risk identification and escalation at portfolio level.
