Job summary

Tract is seeking a Real Estate Assistant Corporate Counsel to support the General Counsel in nationwide land acquisitions and related corporate, infrastructure and regulatory matters. The role offers hands-on engagement across teams and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements include a JD from an ABA-accredited school and 5–8+ years of in-depth real estate and transactional experience, with strong drafting, due diligence, and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• JD required from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with a state bar.
• 5 to 8+ years of real estate and transactional knowledge for commercial real estate acquisitions and development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate land acquisitions and sales; structure land transactions; manage acquisition and sales; handle entitlements, development and construction processes; address corporate, infrastructure, vendor and regulatory matters.
• Identify and communicate legal and business recommendations; assess risk in real estate transactions from contracting to closing and development.
• Draft, negotiate and prepare contracts across land acquisitions, sales, entitlements, development, construction and infrastructure; manage outside counsel on local/regulatory matters.
