Job summary

Tract seeks a Real Estate Assistant Corporate Counsel to support the General Counsel in a high-visibility, nationwide role handling land acquisitions, entitlements, development and related regulatory matters.

Ideal candidates will have a JD, active state bar admission, and 5–8+ years in real estate and transactional law, with strong drafting and negotiation skills and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• JD required from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with a state bar.
• 5–8+ years of real estate and transactional knowledge in commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate land acquisitions and sales; structure and manage transactions.
• Work on entitlements, development, construction, and corporate matters.
• Draft, negotiate, and prepare contracts for land acquisitions, sales, entitlements, development, and construction.
• Manage corporate entity filings and documentation.
• Advise on risk, due diligence, title and survey review.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external counsel.
• Support regulatory matters and process improvements.
