Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee accounting for multiple properties and entities in the real estate sector. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely closing processes.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in accounting, strong QuickBooks proficiency, and a BA/BS in accounting; a Master's or CPA is preferred. Hybrid or on-site options may be available, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks.
• Online BA/BS in accounting.
• Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage a team of two other accountants.
• Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, reporting, billing, AR/AP, cash management for all properties/companies.
• Develop and manage annual financial budgets.
• Consolidation of companies belonging to the same ownership.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and oversee the closing process.
• Ensure all AR are collected promptly.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Prepare annual CAM budgets and CAM reconciliations.
• Implementation of Rent increases (CPI and standard).
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for security deposits, accrued and prepaid expenses, allocation insurance premiums.
• Monitor TRIM notices and coordinate potential condo.
