Pikemann seeks a Senior Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, and compliance for a commercial real estate portfolio. You’ll report to the CFO and oversee operations across property management, investments, and partnerships to ensure accurate, timely financials.

Ideal: 10+ years in real estate finance, strong GAAP, treasury, audits, and tax coordination; CPA preferred and proven leadership of accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including minimum 2+ years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Financial consolidations, CAM reconciliations, Treasury management, Financial statement preparation.
• Experience managing annual audits, external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with accrual-basis and cash-basis accounting and reporting.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing accounting and finance teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial and property management systems (Yardi).
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and sophisticated cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, audit, tax, and investor reporting.
• Provide strategic financial guidance while overseeing day-to-day operations across property management, investments, and partnerships.
• Oversee audits, external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Develop and mentor accounting and finance teams.
• Maintain strong analytical and reporting capabilities across the portfolio.
