Job summary

Farr Law Firm, P.A. in Punta Gorda, FL seeks an experienced Real Estate Processor to join the busy real estate department.

You will open and maintain closing files, review purchase agreements, coordinate title searches, and communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents to ensure timely closings. The ideal candidate has residential real estate processing experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential real estate processing or closings.
• Working knowledge of Florida real estate transactions and closing procedures.
• Experience with title searches and related documents.
• Ability to coordinate with lenders, agents, and clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with real estate closing software (Qualia preferred).

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain residential real estate closing files from contract through closing.
• Review purchase and sale agreements, title commitments, and related transaction documents.
• Coordinate title searches, surveys, lien searches, estoppel letters, and other required documents.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure timely closings.
• Prepare and review closing documents and settlement statements.
• Coordinate with lenders to obtain necessary information and satisfy closing requirements.
• Track deadlines and address outstanding items to move transactions forward.
• Assist with post-closing responsibilities, including recording documents and issuing title policies.
• Work closely with real estate attorneys and support staff to ensure accurate, efficient closings.
