Job summary

Holland & Knight in Dallas seeks a Business Development Manager - Real Estate to act as the primary marketing professional for the Real Estate Group. You will collaborate with practice leaders to develop strategies and implement BD activities for the assigned practice, aligning with firm-wide marketing resources.

The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with 6–10 years of experience in legal or professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6-10 years of experience, preferably in a legal or professional services marketing environment.
• Ability to develop and manage marketing budgets and plans.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM, invoicing, expenses, matter management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the practice, clients, target markets, and related resources.
• Develop, implement, and track business plans for the assigned practices.
• Develop and manage practice marketing budgets.
• Strategize with practice leaders to identify marketing activities and initiatives.
• Maintain collateral materials and web content.
• Plan and participate in practice meetings and respond to RFPs and pitches.
• Direct research on trends, targeted companies, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with PR to promote results and key attorneys.
• Leverage cross-selling opportunities across groups.
• Manage CRM and engagement databases for practices.
• Oversee events and conferences, travel to other offices as needed.
