Job summary

In Pasadena, you will manage real estate/HOA litigation and serve as general counsel to community association clients, advising on real estate transactions and complex matters.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in litigation, real estate, or corporate/community association law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as with team support.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.

THE ROLE

• Manage a caseload of real estate and community association litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial
• Serve as general counsel to community association clients on real estate and common interest development law; assisting in general real estate transactions
• Work directly with clients as both advocate and advisor
• Collaborate with a highly regarded, prominent, experienced, supportive legal team in a contemporary office environment as well as a flexible work schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years of experience in litigation, real estate, or corporate or community association law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as with team support, or guidance and/or supervision, as needed.
