Taylor Root is seeking a mid-level Real Estate attorney to join its growing Real Estate Group in Los Angeles, CA. The attorney will draft and negotiate real estate transactional documents, including purchase agreements and loan docs, and handle capital markets agreements with partners and clients.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and strong drafting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• PSA and financing documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise real estate purchase agreements, loan documents, and capital markets agreements.
• Coordinate with partners and paralegals to hit deadlines and moves deals forward.

Job description

Our client is seeking a mid-level Real Estate attorney to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate Group.

Responsibilities Include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and revising: (i) real estate transactional agreements including purchase and sale agreements and loan documentation, and (ii) real estate capital markets agreements, such as joint venture operating agreements, syndication agreements, preferred equity agreements and other entity documents.
• Managing and coordinating with partners and paralegals on the deal to make sure deadlines are hit to facilitate the timely and orderly procession of the deal.
• Managing multiple deadlines and tasks for various clients at once

Candidate Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of real estate transaction experience
• PSA and financing documentation
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and relationship skills, will have lots of direct contact with clients
• Able to take a deal from start to finish and keep the deal moving forward
• Positive attitude, team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of multi-tasking and expanding their skill set

Details:

Billable Hour Requirement: 1,800 hours

Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 annually

Business Development Budget: $2,500 per year
