Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking Associate Attorneys and lateral transfers to join a growing practice across North and South Carolina, including Columbia, SC. You will manage cases from inception to resolution and appear in court proceedings with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, active licenses in NC/SC, and 1+ years of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication and time management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
• 1+ years of experience preferred; new graduates considered for associate roles.
• Experience in litigation, real estate, or creditors' rights preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload independently from inception through resolution.
• Attend court proceedings including trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
