Job summary

RubinBrown LLP is seeking an experienced Manager, Assurance Services to join our Real Estate Services Group in St. Louis. You will lead complex engagements, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality assurance services for a diverse real estate client portfolio.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships, collaborate across service lines, and contribute to growth initiatives while upholding RubinBrown's reputation for integrity and client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Progressive public accounting experience in Assurance Services.
• Experience serving real estate clients; familiarity with affordable housing, LIHTC, historic tax credits, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS; solid financial reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and lead staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex assurance engagements for real estate clients, ensuring audit quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion.
• Advise on accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory matters for real estate clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; foster a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions for evolving client needs.
• Review engagement workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to growth of RubinBrown's Real Estate Assurance Services practice.
