Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Extensive public accounting experience with progressive leadership in Assurance Services.
• Experience serving clients in real estate sectors including affordable housing, LIHTC, historic tax credits, renewable energy, and Opportunity Zones.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of business development and executive-level client relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients, ensuring exceptional client service and audit quality.
• Drive business development by building and expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and cross-selling Assurance and Advisory services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory matters affecting the real estate industry.
• Mentor, coach, and develop professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
• Work across service lines to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients’ evolving business needs.
• Help shape the strategic direction, growth, and market leadership of RubinBrown's Real Estate Assurance Services group.
• Represent RubinBrown through industry involvement, thought leadership, and professional networking to strengthen the firm’s brand.
