Job summary

Past experience with percentage-of-completion, job costing, retainage, and WIP is preferred. Strong client relationships and cross-functional collaboration are essential. The position offers a hybrid work model, travel as needed, and opportunities to contribute to practice growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on construction.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and AICPA auditing standards.
• Experience leading audit engagements and managing teams.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements for construction clients (GCs, subs, homebuilders).
• Provide guidance on construction accounting topics (PoC, job costing, change orders, retainage, WIP).
• Review financial statements, workpapers, and controls for GAAP compliance.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and team performance.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide strategic financial insights.
• Mentor staff and foster technical excellence.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services through cross-functional collaboration.
