The role targets junior to mid-level attorneys with 4-6 years of real estate experience, strong drafting and due diligence skills, and a client-focused, collaborative approach. Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 4-6 years of real estate experience in a large law firm.
• Experience representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions.
• Strong due diligence experience, including lease, title and survey review.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
• Illinois bar admission required for the Chicago position.
• Client-focused, proactive and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Represent developers, owners, investors, lenders and financial institutions in real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, leases, development agreements and financing documents.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and real estate financing.
• Conduct due diligence, including lease, title and survey review.
• Support M&A, private equity, fund formation and debt finance matters involving real estate.
• Work across commercial, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, data center and other asset classes.
