Job summary

Clifford Chance US LLP is seeking a Real Estate Associate with at least four years of experience to join its Real Estate practice, with a focus on supporting the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure initiatives.

The role involves advising on real estate matters in connection with energy and infrastructure development, acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing, collaborating with clients, title companies, and attorneys across practice areas.

Qualifications

• Experience with real estate matters relating to energy, renewable energy or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
• Experience with title and survey review, site control, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, easements and related real estate documentation.
• Experience supporting financing transactions from a real estate perspective is particularly valuable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, option agreements, access agreements and other site-control documentation.
• Conducting and managing title, survey and other real estate due diligence.
• Identify and resolve real estate issues affecting project development and financing; coordinate with clients and related professionals.
