Job summary

Clifford Chance's Houston office seeks an experienced corporate transactions attorney to support energy deals. This role focuses on sophisticated domestic and international energy transactions across oil and gas value chain.

The ideal candidate will independently manage significant portions of transactions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and provide pragmatic advice to clients and opposing counsel, with strong communication skills and familiarity with cross-border matters.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar, or eligibility to waive into the Texas Bar.
• Experience advising energy companies, private equity sponsors, infrastructure investors, and other market participants on transactional matters including upstream/downstream and related agreements.
• Experience with upstream, midstream, oil & gas transactions, M&A, joint ventures, and development projects.
