Job summary

Clifford Chance LLP is seeking an experienced real estate attorney in Houston to advise on sophisticated matters arising from energy and infrastructure development, acquisitions, and financing transactions.

You will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases and easements, and conduct title and survey due diligence while coordinating with clients, title companies, surveyors and other attorneys across practice areas. Strong drafting and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating real estate documents (purchase agreements, leases, easements).

Responsibilities

• Advise on sophisticated real estate matters arising from energy, infrastructure development, acquisitions and financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, option and access agreements, and site-control documents.
• Conduct and manage title, survey, and other real estate due diligence, and resolve issues affecting development and financing.
• Collaborate with clients, title companies, surveyors, consultants and attorneys across practices on complex transactions.
