Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP seeks a 2nd–4th year associate to join the Real Estate Practice Group in Tampa (and other offices). Candidates should have experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions, drafting and negotiating documents for property deals.

A JD from an ABA-approved law school and active Bar membership are required; timely admission coinciding with hire is expected. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and a team-oriented, collegial environment.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school and in good standing.
• Active Bar admission in the jurisdiction(s) of practice; timely Bar admission required.
• 2nd–4th year associate (2022–2024) with commercial real estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate real estate and financing documents, including purchase/sale agreements, licenses, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development-related agreements, and property management agreements.
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication; interact with partners and clients; manage deadlines.
