Job summary

Lateral Link in Dallas, an AmLaw 100 firm with a nationally ranked real estate practice, is hiring a partnership-track real estate associate (2–6 years) to sit on a full-service team handling debt and equity deals.

You will manage your own deals and contribute to a growing practice, drafting and negotiating loan documents or P&S and JV agreements, with a path toward partnership. Texas bar admission or willingness to sit within a year is required.

Qualifications

• Strong academics, organization, and writing.

Dallas is the one real estate market where the deal flow never really shut off through the rate cycle — the lenders kept lending and the sponsors kept buying, and the associates who can run a mortgage and mezz closing on their own are being recruited from every direction.

An AmLaw 100 firm with a nationally ranked real estate practice is hiring a partnership-track real estate associate (2–6 years) in Dallas. Cravath scale — $235K–$390K depending on class year.

You'd sit on a full-service real estate team handling both the debt and equity sides of the market, with your own deals to run at your level and a group that's actively growing rather than backfilling.

The work includes:

• Mortgage and mezzanine loan originations, including construction, bridge, and permanent financings
• Acquisitions and dispositions across office, multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use assets
• Joint venture structuring between sponsors and institutional equity
• Loan workouts, modifications, and portfolio transactions

What you bring:

• 2–6 years of real estate transactional experience, on either the debt or the equity side
• Reps drafting and negotiating loan documents or purchase and sale and JV agreements
• Strong academics, organization, and writing
• Texas bar admission, or willingness to sit within a year of joining
